CLIMATE CHANGE FUND

The Climate Change Fund (CCF) establishment is provided for under Section 25 of the Climate Change Act, 2016 as a financing mechanism for the priority climate change actions and interventions. The Fund will be key in mobilizing and channeling additional climate change finances to both the National and County levels of Government.

A CCF Task Force was established in June 2017 by the National Treasury to develop the Regulations, Resource Mobilization Strategy and the Monitoring Reporting and Verification (MRV) Framework for the Fund.
